The Office for the Aging, in collaboration with Double Play Community Center will be holding their Winter session of Aquatics and Walk with Ease classes.  All classes will begin on January 5, 2026; run for six weeks and be held on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays each week.  Aquatics will be held again at Beaver River and at Lowville Academy; the Walk with Ease will be held at the Turin Christian Community Center.

Aquatics at BRCS:  7:00-8:00am

Aquatics at LACS:  7:00 – 7:45am

Walk with Ease at Turin Christian Community Center:  11:00am – 12:00pm

These classes are FREE to attend, but you must register first by calling Lewis County Office for the Aging at 315-376-5313.  Space is limited for each class, so call today!  

VIVO & New York State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA) present live, large-group fitness classes designed for older adults – completely FREE!

These classes are fun, safe workouts that you can join from home.  Improve your strength, balance, and mobility while connecting with others in a welcoming community. 

These classes are held Monday – Friday throughout the day to fit your schedule!  Sessions on Monday & Wednesdays are led at a slower pace, with chair-based levels as an option.  You pick what works best for you….all you need is a computer or tablet to participate!
