Youth Bureau
The Lewis County Youth Bureau Advisory Board was established February 5, 1997. It was created by resolution and adopted by the Lewis County Board of Legislators. The board is made up of members from government, non-government, the community and student representatives from Lewis County. The main role of the Youth Bureau is to allocate funding from the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and the County to youth serving programs and organizations.
THE LEWIS COUNTY YOUTH BUREAU ANNOUNCES THE AVAILABILITY OF: YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (YDP) FUNDS, YOUTH SPORTS & EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY (YSE) FUNDS, AND YOUTH TEAM SPORTS (YTS) FUNDS
The Youth Bureau is seeking applicants offering service/program opportunities for youth during the October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027 time period.
Deadline for submission of proposals is Friday September 11th
Applicants will use the one general application below for all three of the categories and the Youth Bureau Advisory Board will decide which allocation area is suited best for the needs described. State documents (OCFS forms) must also be filled out and sent in with the application (OCFS-5011 is only required if the program has a sport involved).
