Lewis County Community Services (LCCS) is charged with ensuring Lewis County residents have access to services for residents who have mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities.

Transitional Living of Northern New York

Services include psychiatric evaluation/assessments and medication management, individual therapy, group therapy for adults and children over five years of age, couples counseling, family therapy and support groups.

Behavioral Health

Samaritan Medical Center

Behavioral health services at Samaritan includes outpatient psychiatry, intensive outpatient addiction services, alcohol and substance abuse treatment, and traditional outpatient addiction services. In addition, they also have a 32-bed inpatient mental health unit within the main hospital, and their emergency department has a dedicated mental health area to care for people in emergency situations.

Children’s Home of Jefferson County

Offers mental health services to children and adults in Northern New York.
