The mission of the Lewis County Planning and Community Department, at the direction of the Lewis County Board of Legislators, is to provide services to our municipalities and citizens to ensure that carefully planned and successful development occurs within the County in accord with the Lewis County Comprehensive Plan.
In support of this mission, the Department will provide assistance and resources to Lewis County municipalities for community development, project planning, zoning, and grant writing and administration.
