SNAP ABAWD Work Rules begin March 1, 2026
If you have chosen to complete a WIOA job search you can download the documents below. This form is due back to Lewis County Employment & Training by the 10th of the following month. For example, if you begin an 80 hour WIOA Job Search in March 2026, you will need to submit the form no later than April 10th, 2026 to Lewis County Employment & Training to receive credit for your job search. The New York State Department of Labor offers eligible unemployed or underemployed residents’ free access to nearly 4,000 Coursera courses and professional certificates.
- The program includes courses in high-growth industries including data science, business, technology, healthcare, and more, many of which lead to certifications and professional certificates that can enhance carer prospects.
Eligibility:
- Be unemployed or underemployed in New York State
- 18 years or older.
- Out-of-state residents currently receiving New York State Unemployment Insurance are also eligible.
