Lewis County Non-Motorized Winter Recreation Plan

A winter recreation master plan for non-motorized forms of transportation at the Commons Trail Network in Lewis County.

The Lewis County Non-Motorized Winter Recreation Plan presents a unique opportunity to enhance the Commons Multi-Use Trails and establish a foundation for year-round recreation throughout the county.

Lewis County Recreation, Forestry, and Parks is developing a non-motorized winter recreation master plan that will offer detailed, actionable recommendations for the Commons Trail area while also serving as a framework for winter operations, maintenance, wayfinding, and trail development across the county. By addressing non-motorized access needs at the project site, the plan will establish best practices and strategies that can be applied to enhance winter recreation opportunities countywide.
