Lewis County (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

West Main Street Complete Streets Project
Lewis County

Project No: Lewis County 5120.8A.25 / BCA 2025-036

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Lewis County West Main Street Complete Streets Project will be
received, by the County of Lewis, at the office of the County Courthouse, 7660 North State Street,
Lowville, New York 13367, until 10:00 am April 23, 2026. At that time bids will be publicly opened and
read.

The Project includes the following Work:
Complete reconstruction of West Main Street, village limits (approximately 5748 West Main) to
the intersection with Main Street and tie-ins to all included side streets, including but not limited
to full depth pavement replacement, storm collection, concrete sidewalk, concrete curbing, and
striping.

Bidders are advised that coordination with other work along the project corridor may be necessary to
meet the contracted milestone dates, specifically the Village of Constableville Phase I Water Project
being constructed simultaneously along the same corridor.
As stated in section 11.05 of the Standard General Conditions, the Owner reserves the right, at any
time, to order additions, deletions, or revisions in the work.

Bids will be received for a single prime contract, Contract No. 1 – General Construction. Bids shall be
provided on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.
Lewis County’s goal for M/WBE utilization on this project is 30% (15% MBE, 15% WBE) and 6% for
SDVOB. See EJCDC C-200 Instructions to Bidders, Article 32, for additional information.
