Your voice matters! Lewis County is updating its 2009 Comprehensive Plan and invites you to participate in the conversation about the future of our communities.
The Comprehensive Plan serves as a roadmap for the County’s future, helping to guide decisions related to housing, economic development, transportation, agriculture, recreation, natural resources, and community character. Your ideas and input will help shape priorities for the years ahead.
We invite you to attend our first public workshop on Wednesday, July 1, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the Town Hall Theater, located at 5428 Shady Avenue, Lowville, NY.
The workshop will begin at 6:30 PM with a presentation highlighting current conditions and trends in Lewis County, including housing, jobs, healthcare, agriculture, recreation, and more. Following the presentation, participants will be invited to share their thoughts on what makes Lewis County a great place to live, work, and visit, as well as the challenges and opportunities to consider as we plan for the future.
