Possible October 2025 Federal Shutdown and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Benefits

A federal government shutdown will not immediately impact SNAP benefits in New York State. SNAP households will continue to receive SNAP benefits as normal through the end of October 2025. Please see the attached Q&A sheet for information.
