NYS Governor’s Youth Council

Lewis County is looking for an interested youth between the ages of 13-21 to fill an open spot on the New York State Governor’s Youth Council!
This is a great opporuntiy for youth with an interest in state government and civic engagement. Members of the council will offer their solutions to key issues facing young people in NYS to the governor and other policymakers. This council helps create a platform for youth voices to be heard and recognized. As a youth, you can help represent Lewis County on a statewide level!
The term lasts a year and requires monthly virutal meetings, with an opportunity at the end to travel to Albany to present group ideas and meet with state representatives.
