Lewis County OFA Farmer’s Market Coupon Distribution Dates

Program Supports Older Adults with Access to Fresh, Local Produce

LOWVILLE, NY — Lewis County Office for the Aging is pleased to announce the 2025 distribution schedule for the Farmers Market Coupon (FMC) Program, a seasonal initiative aimed at helping older adults access fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.

Each eligible older adult in a household may receive one booklet per year, which can be used at participating farmers markets. To qualify, individuals must be 60 years of age or older and meet income eligibility guidelines, which are as follows:

  • $2,413/month for a one-person household
  • $3,261/month for a two-person household
  • $4,109/month for a three-person household

Important Notes:

  • You must be present to receive a booklet.
  • Only one booklet per person per year.

    • High Falls Apartments: 9:30 – 10:15 AM
    • Lyons Falls Farmers Market: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Wednesday, July 9:
    • Valley View Apartments: 10:00 – 11:30 AM
  • Thursday, July 10:
    • Harrisville Fire Department: 10:00 – 11:00 AM
    • Harris Courts Apartments: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Tuesday, July 15:
    • Copenhagen Fire Department: 10:00 – 11:30 AM
    • McNeil Park Apartments: 11:45 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Wednesday, July 16:
    • Port Leyden Fire Department: 10:00 – 11:30 AM
    • Whitton Place Apartments: 11:45 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Thursday, July 17:
    • Healthy Aging Day at the Fair (Leroy Nichol Building): 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Tuesday, July 22:
    • Constableville Fire Department: 10:00 – 11:00 AM

This initiative is part of the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) and is supported by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, in cooperation with the New York State Office for the Aging.
