Preparing Your Municipality for Renewable Energy Applications
Renewable energy applications are becoming increasingly common across New York State. This training is designed to provide municipal officials, board members, and interested residents with a clear overview of how municipalities can prepare before a renewable energy application is submitted.
Participants will learn about key considerations, common challenges, and proactive steps municipalities can take to be better prepared. The program will conclude with a Q&A session, offering time to ask questions and discuss local concerns.
The presentation will be led by Bridget O’Toole, Esq., Partner at Heath & O’Toole. Bridget brings extensive experience assisting municipalities, applicants, and community groups involved in local, state, and federal siting proceedings for renewable energy facilities and transmission lines.
