NOTICE is hereby given that the Lewis County Board of Legislators will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers, Lewis County Courthouse, 7660 N. State Street, Lowville, New York for the purpose of receiving public comment regarding the proposed 2027 Tentative Budget.
The 2027 Tentative Budget is available at lewiscountyny.gov and at the Office of the Clerk of the Board during regular business hours. Pursuant to County Law §359, the maximum salaries for 2027 are:
Legislator – $14,045.40 each; Chairperson – $16,646.40
