To whom do I make my check payable?

Lewis County Treasurer

NOTE: Personal checks are accepted for County/Town taxes UNLESS you are paying for a property that is in jeopardy of foreclosure and the deadline day is less than 45 days away. 

What is the deadline to pay School or Village taxes?

After the school collection period, payment must be in the Treasurer’s Office by 4:30 p.m. on the day before Thanksgiving.

  • Postmarked payments are NOT accepted.
