The Lewis County Planning & Community Development Department is again sponsoring our annual training workshop for local land use officials. Training topics “Affordable Housing”; “Community Design Tools”; and “Public Meetings & Hearings” will be presented by Chris Eastman and his team of Training Specialists from the Local Government Training Office of New York Department of State. The workshop will be held at the Lewis County-Jefferson Community College Education Center on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
If approved by your municipality, this workshop can provide four (4) hours of training to meet the NYS Municipality Training Requirements for municipal board members. Code Enforcement Officials can apply to use these courses as professional development electives.
